1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us, ask about our products, or take part in activities on our site, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, job title, contact preferences, and account or authentication details. We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as race, health, or sexual orientation).

Information we collect automatically. When you use our site, we automatically collect technical and usage data — your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, language, referring pages, approximate location, and how you interact with the site. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies, mainly to keep the site secure and working and for analytics. Everything you provide should be accurate, and you should let us know if it changes.

Information from other sources. We may receive information about you from public databases, marketing and affiliate partners, and data providers — for example, mailing addresses, job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, social media profiles, and interest data — to improve our marketing and keep our records current.

Our use of data from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • provide our services and respond to your questions and support requests;
  • fulfill and manage orders, payments, returns, and exchanges;
  • send administrative messages about our products, terms, and policies;
  • send marketing and promotional messages, where you've agreed to receive them (you can opt out anytime);
  • show you advertising tailored to your interests;
  • request feedback and understand how our services are used so we can improve them;
  • protect our services against fraud and abuse; and
  • protect someone's vital interests, such as preventing harm.

We only process your information when we have a valid reason to do so — for example, with your consent, to perform a contract with you, to meet a legal obligation, or for legitimate business interests that don't override your rights. If you're in the EU or UK, these are our legal bases under the GDPR and UK GDPR.

3. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies (web beacons, pixels) to run and secure the site, remember your preferences, and analyze usage. We also let analytics and advertising partners use these technologies to measure performance and show you interest-based ads, on our site and elsewhere. This includes Google Analytics Advertising Features (remarketing, Display Network reporting, and demographics/interests reporting).

You can control interest-based advertising. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and of Google's interest-based advertising through Google Ad Settings. You can also set your browser to refuse cookies, though some site features may stop working. We do not use the personal information of anyone we know to be under 18 for advertising.

4. When we share information

We share personal information only in these situations:

  • Service providers and partners who help us run our business (such as analytics, advertising, and support vendors), under contract.
  • Advertising and analytics partners, as described in section 3.
  • Google Maps Platform APIs, for location-related features such as office location verification.
  • Affiliates — our parent, subsidiaries, and companies under common control — who must honor this policy.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business.

Mobile information and text messaging. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS/text messaging opt-in or consent data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share this information only with subcontractors who support our messaging service (such as our SMS platform provider), and only to deliver the messages you asked for. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the sharing described elsewhere in this policy.

5. AI-powered features

Some of our services use artificial intelligence and machine learning, provided through third-party AI service providers including Anthropic, Google Cloud AI, OpenAI, and Perplexity. Where you use these features, your inputs and related personal information may be shared with and processed by those providers to deliver the feature. We handle this information in line with this policy and our agreements with those providers. To opt out, update your account settings or contact us.

6. International data transfers

Our servers are in the United States, and your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may not have the same data protection laws as yours. If you're in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we protect transferred data using the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and similar safeguards, available on request.

7. How long we keep information

We keep your personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law (for example, for tax or accounting). When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it, or securely isolate it from further processing if deletion isn't immediately possible.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. Please use a secure environment when accessing our services.

9. Children

We don't knowingly collect information from, market to, or sell the information of children under 18 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction). By using our services, you confirm you're at least 18 or are a parent or guardian consenting on a minor's behalf. If you believe we've collected a child's information, email customerservice@zyris.com and we'll delete it.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:

  • know whether we process your information and access a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information;
  • obtain a portable copy of information you gave us;
  • opt out of interest-based advertising (see section 3);
  • opt out of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects;
  • limit the use of sensitive personal information (where applicable);
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent; and
  • not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

These rights apply, with some variation, to residents of California and other US states with privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia), and to residents of the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada. Some rights are limited in certain circumstances by law.

If you're in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority or the UK ICO. In Switzerland, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
